The latest entry into the streaming world competes directly against the likes of Mi TV Stick and Amazon Fire TV Stick. On one hand, the company already has an Android TV box under the Nokia brand and is already retailing on the platform.
To recall, Flipkart is a licensee of Motorola and launches products under the Motorola brand in India. Earlier, the company introduced products such as music accessories, TVs, washing machines, and even air conditioners.

The price of the Motorola 4K Android TV Stick in India has been set at Rs. 3,999 and will retail exclusively through Flipkart. The streaming stick will be available for purchase from the third week of March.
What are the Specifications of the Motorola 4K Android TV Stick?
The Motorola 4K Android TV Stick runs on Android TV 9 Pie and comes with native support for the HLG and HDR 10 formats. It helps to convert your dumbbell TV into a smart TV and allows you to enjoy 4K content if you can support high resolution.
Since it is based on Android, users can download applications from the Play Store and it comes with applications such as Netflix, YouTube, Amazon Prime Video, Disney + Hotstar, ZEE5, and Voot, etc.
In terms of processing power, the stick is powered by a 2GHz Cortex A53 quad-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM and has 16GB of internal storage. Like any other streaming device, it comes with a built-in Chromecast and access to Google Assistant.
The bundled remote has hotkeys for four different OTT platforms. The Motorola 4K Android TV Stick comes with Bluetooth and dual-band WiFi, with support for both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz WiFi bandwidth.
What are the Features of the Motorola 4K Android TV Stick?
Motorola’s 4K Android TV, as we reported in a previous report, looks very similar to the Polaroid Smartbox S. Also, it has a square shape and is quite different from the likes of the Mi TV Stick / Amazon Fire TV Stick device.
However, it is not a lethargy for the above-mentioned devices to present media content. Motorola states that 4K Media Stick supports HDR, meaning that users can play HDR10 and HLG video formats using the device.
As the name suggests, it supports up to 4K video resolution (2160 pixels) and can go down to 720 pixels at 60 Hz for streaming. Under the hood, it is powered by a 2GHz Cortex A53 quad-core chipset with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.
The 4K Android TV Stick runs Android 9 Pie out of the box and therefore has Google Chromecast and Google Assistant built-in. Since it is running Google’s Android, it has access to the Google Play Store to download other media apps.
Regarding which, as mentioned above, it supports most streaming apps and has hotkeys for YouTube on Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Zee 5, Remote.
The remote also has a microphone (for voice commands), dedicated mute switch, Google Assistant button, and more. Other features include an HDMI port, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth for connectivity, and Dolby audio support.
